Notre Dame

Not this Notre Dame:

This Notre Dame:

Named for "Our Lady of Paris," aka the Virgin Mary is the official home of the seat of the Archbishop of Paris. It is believed to be the best representation of French Gothic architecture in Europe and has been a reality in the French consciousness since 1163. The church is known for its impressive organ system in addition to its magnificent architecture. It also has five bells, one weighing as much as 13 tons, that chime the hours of the day. Very Oglethorpian of them...
