David Em's Nora is unlike any landscape we have ever seen because it was created within a computer. Electronic painting is what he specializes in, using geometric equations and shapes and altering them within the world of computers to create new images and realities. Through this type of art, Em creates an illusion of space as well as dictating all natural elements like where the light is coming from and through what frame will this landscape be seen. I find it fascinating that this is a product of the 1970s while also finding the progress we've made since then phenomenal in comparison.
